The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has opened submissions for this year’s New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards.   

The awards, in their 11th edition, honour the achievements of NZ-based businesses and professionals, with this year’s event held at Cordis, Auckland, on November 22. ANZIIF has announced 15 separate award categories up for grabs.  

Last year’s awards saw Vero named General Insurance Company of the Year, while Marsh took home Large Broking Company of the Year.   

It will be the final edition of the awards under the leadership of ANZIIF CEO Prue Wilsford, who will be leaving her post at the end of the year after nearly a decade of service.   

“It is with great pleasure that we announce submissions for the 2023 New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards are now open,” Ms Wilsford said.  

“I invite you to apply and participate in this wonderful celebration of industry and I look forward to seeing you at the awards at Cordis, Auckland.”  

Submissions will be open until July 17.
