ANZIIF names new board members
The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has appointed CHU Underwriting Agencies CEO Kimberley Jonsson and Allianz Australia Chief Customer and Operations Officer Brendan Dunne to its board of directors.
ANZIIF CEO Prue Willsford says adding such high-calibre leaders helps ensure it remains engaged and relevant to the changing needs of the insurance community.
Ms Jonsson, named ANZIIF’s Young Insurance Professional of the Year in 2017, says she has “always been proud” of her association with the group.
“At a time when all organisations face not only operational but also regulatory challenges, ANZIIF’s commitment to promoting and enhancing the professionalism of the insurance industry is extremely important,” she said.
“I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to ANZIIF.’
Mr Dunne leads a team of more than 2500 people across general insurance, IT and security, business and technology transformation, procurement, property and facilities.
“I am excited to join the ANZIIF board of directors, an organisation which is committed to inspiring and educating a new generation of insurance leaders and continuing to uplift the standards for customer centricity and excellence across the industry,” he said.
