ANZIIF lines up weekly webinars

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance will host a series of free webinars discussing key insurance topics.

The hour-long sessions will run every Thursday at noon AEST, with the first one this week featuring Australian Financial Complaints Authority senior ombudsman Chris Liamos discussing the application of proximate cause in insurance claims.

Two more topics have been announced, covering personal finance and the influence of AI on insurance.

“These webinars were designed to provide our members with access to expert knowledge, enabling them to improve their competency and skills,” institute CEO Katrina Shanks said.

“In addition to this, the webinars will focus on thought leadership topics, challenging insurance professionals to think more critically and explore opportunities and risks which will impact the sector in the future.”
