It’s awards time again, with nominations now open for the 2010 Australia and New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards.

The 14 awards on offer span the insurance spectrum, recognising a general insurer, insurance leader, large and small broker, law firm/practitioner, life insurer, loss adjuster, underwriting agency, reinsurer, risk manager/team and service provider.

Other awards mark industry innovation and services to the community while a Treasurer’s award recognises good governance and practice.

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance runs the awards, which are judged by a panel of Australian, NZ and international judges.

Applications close on May 19, with winners to be named at a gala event in Sydney on August 12.
