ANZIIF extends Chinese reach
The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has announced a strategic partnership with China’s Insurance Professional College (IPC).
ANZIIF CEO Joan Fitzpatrick says IPC will promote and market ANZIIF-certified education products and services, improving access for Chinese students and insurance professionals to internationally recognised training.
She says the partnership will also extend ANZIIF’s influence in China, where it already has 100 training bases as well as established relationships with major Chinese insurers.
“We have built a very strong brand in China by providing high quality educational products over the past six years,” she said in a statement.
“ANZIIF continues to strengthen its global presence through the adoption of its certified general insurance qualification as a requirement for promotion and career advancement in China’s third largest general insurer.”
Established in 1986, IPC is China’s only vocational insurance education college and is owned by China’s largest insurer China Life Insurance Group Company.
