The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance will take its Rising Stars in Insurance seminar series to five cities this year.  

The institute will hold first-time events in Perth and Brisbane, and return to Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.  

The sessions, supported by the Young Insurance Professionals group, aim to educate people early in their careers and provide an opportunity to engage with peers.  

The seminars’ theme is “building meaningful connections” and they will focus on developing and maintaining professional relationships throughout careers.  

“With the challenges young professionals have faced since 2020, the event’s focus ... is more relevant than ever and will provide valuable insights for those looking to advance in their careers,” YIP Australasian sponsorship and partnership manager Tahlia Rogers-Brown said.  

Institute CEO Katrina Shanks says the events are a “fantastic opportunity for young insurance professionals to gain practical insights they can apply to their roles, helping them build relationships that will last for the duration of their careers”.
