The New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards are set to be hosted in person in Auckland on November 30.

The awards, held by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF), mark achievements in the industry over the past year.

Last year’s award ceremony was held virtually and the 2020 event was cancelled due to covid.

“We are overjoyed to see the return of the industry’s night of nights and celebrate the 10th year of the awards in New Zealand,” ANZIIF CEO Prue Willsford said.

ANZIIF announced the return of all 11 categories from last year’s awards as well as four new categories to recognise success across the insurance ecosystem.

The new categories released are Excellence in Environmental, Social and Governance Change, General Insurance Claims Team of the Year, Insurtech Start-up of the Year and Authorised Representative of the Year.

Submissions are open now and will close on July 18.
