ANZIIF appoints new president
Insurance professional Jonathon Fox is the new President of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).
Mr Fox is GM Insurance Operations for Elders Insurance and has served as ANZIIF deputy president since 2011.
He replaces Tony Morgan, who told Friday’s annual general meeting that last year saw significant investment in member services.
Karl Armstrong, EGM of New Zealand insurer NZI, is the new Deputy President.
ANZIIF has also appointed two new directors: Chun Ming (Tony) Lee, ED of Hong Kong-based Seascope Risk Services, and CommInsure Head of Industry Funds Segment, Wholesale Life, Frank Crapis.
Mr Morgan will continue as a director.
Last year ANZIIF focused on growth and the development of educational offerings, launching its faculties and online member services and its mentoring program, CEO Joan Fitzpatrick says.
