The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has appointed Resolution Life Australasia CEO Tim Tez and AIA Australia Communications and Corporate Affairs GM Sarah Phillips to its board. 

Mr Tez took over from Megan Beer as CEO earlier this year and has more than two decades of industry experience.  

Ms Phillips heads AIA Australia’s public policy advocacy, ESG and communication for its CEO Office. Her previous experience includes policy consultant roles at the Insurance Council of Australia and the Financial Services Council. 

The additions expand ANZIIF’s board to 15 members and follow Austbrokers Chief Broking Officer Ben Bessell's appointment as President in June.
