ANZIIF and ICNZ announce scholarship winner
Vero Actuarial Manager Anita Samu has won the inaugural Insurance Council of New Zealand (ICNZ) and Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance joint scholarship.
She won the $5000 prize for her essay on new prudential regulation in New Zealand and how it may change the industry’s image.
The scholarship can be spent attending an international conference of her choice, covering the cost of flights, accommodation, registration and other fees.
“It was such a satisfying experience to sink my teeth into a part of the industry I am really interested in,” Ms Samu said.
The competition is open to candidates aged below 35 who are direct employees of ICNZ members and are New Zealand residents.
