ANU professor wins global research award
Australian National University academic Shirley Gregor co-authored a paper on digital technology in insurance that has won the Shin Research Excellence Award.
In the paper, Professor Gregor and her teammates – Alexander Bohnert and Albrecht Fritzsche from Germany’s University of Erlangen-Nuremberg – urge insurance companies to approach digitisation with a strategic mindset.
Their entry – called Digital Agendas in the Insurance Industry: the Importance of Comprehensive Approaches – will be presented at July’s International Insurance Society global forum in Berlin.
The award program is run by the society and the Geneva Association.
