Ansvar shares $250,000 among youth projects

Community and heritage specialist Ansvar Insurance has awarded $250,000 of grants under its community education program.

The eight beneficiaries include Vision Australia, counselling group Youth Focus in WA, the Shepherd Centre, which promotes social inclusion for deaf children in rural areas, and Muscular Dystrophy NSW.

Acting CEO Deirdre Blythe says the grants, supporting people aged under 25, are a good fit for Ansvar, “given the care and community sectors are core to our business”.

A grant to 3rd Space Mob Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation will help about 300 people through leadership training, day camps and workshop presentations.
