AM Best has appointed former QBE executive Doron Grossman as Director, Market Development – Southeast Asia.

The Singapore-based role includes developing and implementing initiatives to enhance AM Best’s business activities and profile across southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Mr Grossman has more than three decades’ experience in the insurance and reinsurance industries and has worked in Australia, Europe and Singapore.

He held a variety of roles during18 years at QBE including Head of Distribution Asia-Pacific and MD European Markets.

Mr Grossman was also founding CEO of Insurance Brokers Network Australia (IBNA).
