Allianz has won the Council of Queensland Insurance Brokers (CQIB) Allrounder of the Year Award at its Queensland Day celebration last week.

It is the third year running Allianz has won the overall award. Vero was the runner-up.

Allianz also won the Claims Service Award, CGU won the Domestic Insurer Award, and UAA won the Underwriting Agency Award.

The Mick Lambert-Barker Award went to Heidi Brasell of CGU for “service above and beyond”.

This new award was sponsored by Rockhampton-based Piranha Insurance Brokers, where Mr Lambert-Barker worked for 12 years. He died of cancer last July.
