Allianz has secured the naming rights for the redeveloped stadium at Sydney’s Moore Park, which is in the final stages of completion.

The previous arena on the site, for which Allianz also had naming rights, was demolished in 2019 under major redevelopment plans for the sporting and entertainment precinct.

“Allianz has been supporting Australians for over 100 years, and 2022 marks the tenth anniversary of our initial commitment to the original Allianz Stadium,” MD Richard Feledy said.

“Through our stadium partnerships, we are committed to bringing communities together to enjoy an array of sport, international concerts and important cultural events.”

Tourism and Sports Minister Stuart Ayres says the new stadium, which has 42,500 undercover seats, is on track to open in time for this year's National Rugby League finals series.
