Allianz’s former national key account manager Rob Funnell has been appointed Victoria and Tasmania State Manager, Broker & Agency Commercial.

Mr Funnell has worked in the insurance industry for 34 years and has experience in underwriting, distribution and reinsurance roles.

He is a former Lumley Insurance regional manager for Victoria and Tasmania, and was responsible for setting up and heading Lumley’s corporate solutions team.

Mr Funnell succeeds Mark White, who recently left Allianz to join Austbrokers as Partner Development Manager.
