Allianz is sponsoring this year’s Vivid Sydney festival, which transforms many of the city’s landmarks, including the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, with creative lighting displays.

The festival, in its ninth year, features major light installations and projections, music performances and various discussions and debates.

Allianz is supporting a program where volunteers show visitors around key locations, and boats participating in the Harbour Lights installation.

The insurer, which has a partnership with the Australian Paralympic Committee, is also sponsoring a speaking session for paralympian Joany Badenhorst.

“We’re excited to be supporting such as iconic event that brings together millions of people to celebrate art, technology and innovation,” Allianz Australia MD Niran Peiris said.

The festival started on Thursday and runs until June 17.
