Allianz has appointed Julie Mitchell as GM Victorian Workers’ Compensation.

She replaces Norm Cockerell, who held the role for five years.

Ms Mitchell was previously GM of treasury managed fund for six years, and also oversaw the NT workers’ compensation government claims team and the police hurt-on-duty contract.

She also led Allianz’s pilot with Comcare and the Department of Human Services.

Allianz Chief GM Workers’ Compensation Helen Silver says Ms Mitchell brings “a strong track record of performance, including industry-leading return-to-work and long-tail liability results, and will make a strong contribution to our Victorian business”.
