Allianz Australia has appointed Telstra’s Group MD for Innovation, Products and Marketing Kate McKenzie to its board of directors.

Ms McKenzie is a former Director-General of the NSW Department of Industrial Relations.

She will join the Allianz Australia board in January.

MD Terry Towell says Ms McKenzie’s understanding and knowledge of future forms of communication and technologies will assist the insurer in developing better communication strategies.
