Allianz, Aon, NTI honoured at ANZIIF awards
Allianz Australia has been named large general insurance company of the year at the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance awards.
Aon took the award for large broking company, AIA was the life insurance company winner, and NTI took out two categories: underwriting agency and claims team.
The awards night at The Star in Sydney last week – the 20th annual awards evening – was a sellout event, with more than 800 people attending.
The program honours outstanding accomplishments in insurance and the “impressive and diverse” talent that drives the industry.
The founder of Hollard’s Australian operations, Richard Enthoven, was given the ANZIIF lifetime achievement award, while Insurance Council of Australia CEO Andrew Hall was named insurance leader of the year.
Insurance Advisernet was named best authorised representative network for the seventh consecutive year.
