Austbrokers & IBNA Member Services (AIMS) has struck a deal giving the group’s staff membership of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).

The membership includes access to training for professional qualifications, discounted tickets to ANZIIF events and full access to a members’ centre providing articles and interactive activities.

“Education is the cornerstone to any industry’s growth, professionalism and value,” AIMS GM Glenn Schultz said.

“We hope this new relationship will bring a high level of education and uniformity to our industry by providing a more consistent approach to our member brokers and investing in their careers.”

The memberships take effect from today.

“This agreement is a step forward for ANZIIF and our industry collaboration and partnership-based approach,” the institute’s CEO Prue Willsford said.
