Steadfast’s Nick Cook and Austbrokers & IBNA Member Services’ (AIMS) Glenn Schultz will join the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) board from next month.

Mr Cook, Steadfast EGM Partner and Broker Services, says being on the board is about insurance brokers having “a united voice at the table”.

“It’s critical for broking to have an organisation that knows Canberra and how it operates, that can speak to politicians and present insurance brokers in the best possible light,” he said.

Mr Schultz is AIMS GM and has more than 35 years’ experience in insurance and broking.

He says he looks forward to helping build a strong association that brokers are “absolutely confident” in.

NIBA President Graham Stevens says Mr Cook and Mr Schultz’s skills and experience put NIBA in a strong position to protect, enhance and promote brokers’ business.
