AICLA board reappoints President to third term
The Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA) board has unanimously reappointed Glyn Lloyd as its President.
Mr Lloyd, who was elected at an AILCA board meeting on October 20, will be its first President to serve a third term.
He says it is an “honour and a privilege” to be reappointed to the role, describing it as “a humbling position to be in”.
Outgoing CEO Tony Libke will continue in his role and mentor his son, Adrian Libke, over the next 12 months as a potential candidate to be his successor.
Mr Lloyd says the board has not determined who will replace Tony Libke and that a future decision will be made “as to whether Adrian is the candidate to fill the substantial shoes of his father”.
AILCA awarded Crawford & Company’s Chan Hwee Seng and Sedgwick Australia’s Tony Morgan with its inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award.
AILCA says the award recognises the contributions of “longstanding loss adjusters who have given back to the profession over an extended period of time,” and will be officially presented at upcoming events.
“My personal congratulations to these fine upstanding adjusters, the entire AICLA membership congratulates you and thanks you for your contribution to the loss adjusting profession over an extended period of time,” Mr Lloyd said.
AILCA will be holding upcoming events in November and December across multiple Australian cities, including its Victorian Division’s annual award ceremony on December 15.
