AILA picks Victoria for mentor program launch
The Australian Insurance Law Association (AILA) has set up a mentorship program in Victoria, with plans to extend it to other states and territories.
An annual mentor of the year prize will be awarded under the program.
The scheme allows experienced executives from all areas of the industry – broking, underwriting, claims, loss adjusting, law and regulation – to help peers with under five years’ experience.
“It’s not a lifetime relationship, but a six-month commitment for mentors to assist mentees with career development and sharing general advice,” AILA board member Cameron Roberts said.
The closing date for applications is April 23. For more information, click here.
Meanwhile, AILA says Clyde & Co Senior Associate Dan Robinson has joined the national board, taking a place vacated by Jessica Beard, who is leaving her insurance practice.
