There is still time to sign up for this week’s Australian Insurance Law Association national conference, with day registration rates now available.

The event takes place in Sydney from Wednesday to Friday, with the theme Wide Exposure, Safe Harbour.

Keynote speakers include NSW Supreme Court judge Tom Bathurst, National Insurance Brokers Association CEO Dallas Booth and Zurich CEO Daniel Fogarty.

Delegates can attend just the main day, Thursday, for $550 or $695 including the gala dinner.

Organising committee member and Cerno National Technical Leader Andrew Thomas says the event is on course for a record attendance, with more than 300 people already signed up.

He says the day registration rate is a great opportunity.

“We have a really good line-up of speakers and there is some great networking to be done,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au, which is the event’s media sponsor.

“There will be a good mix of sectors from across the insurance and risk industry. It is not going to be a lawyer-fest.”

This year every twist and turn of the event will be reported via a live Twitter feed, and there is also a conference app that provides a complete guide.
