This year’s Australian Insurance Law Association conference is set to draw record crowds, organisers say.

The event – Insurance News is the media sponsor – will be held in Sydney from September 18 to 20, with the theme Wide Exposure, Safe Harbour.

Keynote speakers include NSW Supreme Court judge Tom Bathurst, National Insurance Brokers Association CEO Dallas Booth and Zurich General Insurance CEO Daniel Fogarty.

The conference also offers a great networking opportunity, according to organising committee member and Cerno National Technical Leader Andrew Thomas.

“Anyone who is involved in insurance needs to know about insurance law, and this conference is state of the art,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au. “We had just short of 400 attending in Hobart last year and this time we could attract 500.”

Special rates are available for insurance industry professionals and early-bird rates have been extended to July 14.
