AIG takes to YouTube to spruik rebrand

AIG has taken to YouTube to promote its image and commitment to the US public.

The giant insurer recently announced plans to drop the Chartis name for its general insurance products and return to the AIG brand. The YouTube venture is seen as an initial step in the rebranding.

“The launch of this YouTube channel will tell the world about AIG’s tremendous progress and commitment to keeping their promise to repay America the whole of its investment in AIG plus a profit,” an AIG spokesman said.
