AIG takes service excellence prize

AIG Australia has won an Australian Business Award for service excellence.

The insurer has been recognised for the role its claims account relationship managers play liaising with clients and brokers, award judges say.

“During the Queensland floods, it was identified that… the role was a major point of difference between AIG and competitors.”

The relationship managers gave regular status reports, resolved issues efficiently and ensured clients had a forum to ask questions, raise concerns and provide feedback, they say.

The awards are in their eighth year and cover all industry sectors.
