AIG has appointed Alan James as Head of Aerospace and Abhay Rangnekar as Head of Political Risk for the Asia Pacific region.

The announcements were made on the insurer’s LinkedIn account.

Mr James is based in Singapore and was previously AIG Regional Underwriting Manager, handling all aviation business for the region, his LinkedIn account says.

AIG says Mr Abhay has more than 40 years’ banking experience in the region and will provide advisory and structured debt financing and transaction solutions to help drive sustainable, profitable growth.
