AICLA's Asian Claims Convention to be held in Bangkok in May
The Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA) is inviting attendees to the 2023 Asian Claims Convention, to be held at the JW Marriott Bangkok on May 10-12 with the theme Claims in a Post-pandemic World.
The convention will feature a panel discussion showcasing three prominent loss adjusters – Tony Morgan, Chan Hwee Seng and Maria Widiasusanty – and their experiences in the profession, with the discussion moderated by AICLA President Glyn Lloyd.
"We are expecting, based on interest shown to date, a record number of attendees,” AICLA said. “The exciting program will examine the challenges facing those in insurance claims and look at the best practices across the industry with a focus on Asia.”
The event includes a cocktail function, two-day convention and gala dinner.
Topics planned include the art of loss adjusting, metaverse/NFTs/blockchain, cyber, construction claims, disaster management engineering claims, electric vehicles & devices, investigating catastrophic failures and advancements in technology to mitigate environmental disasters.
