AICLA President to step down
Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA) President Michael Collins will step down this month, having completed his two-year term.
His deputy, Leon Briggs of Cunningham Lindsey New Zealand, is expected to be elected his successor at the group’s AGM in Adelaide on October 20.
“During my presidency I have met some truly wonderful people and have made many friends,” Mr Collins says in the latest LA News newsletter.
“It has been a fabulous experience and I hope I have been of some benefit to you and our profession in general.’
He says he has also “enjoyed the opportunity to teach and educate some of our less experienced members”.
“Education is, of course, the purpose of AICLA’s existence.”
