AICLA opens Carey Bird Scholarship
Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters members can now apply for this year’s Carey Bird Scholarship.
It is open to under-40s and members aged over 40 who are enrolled in the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance Diploma of Loss Adjusting.
Entrants must write a maximum of 1500 words on a material damage case scenario.
Entries close on May 31. The winner can choose between a trip to the Sydney Claims Convention or the Asian Claims Convention.
The award is co-sponsored by Marsh FACS.
The award was created in 2013 in honour of Marsh employee and AICLA member Carey Bird, who died in the 2011 Christchurch earthquakes.
