AICLA names awards winners

The Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA) has announced the following award winners for students of its 2015 Diploma of Loss Adjusting course.

Senior Forensic Accountant Paul Boylan from Crawford & Company won three awards, including the Diploma of Loss Adjusting Prize worth $1000, for having the highest average marks. He also received the $400 Charles Buchanan Prize for submitting an examination paper and assignments of “outstanding quality”, and the Ted Cooper Prize for a West Australian who attained the highest mark in a Diploma of Loss Adjusting subject.

MD Mi6 Investigation Services Darren Maynard received $200 for winning the Brian Geraghty Prize for a Queenslander who attained the highest mark in a Diploma of Loss Adjusting subject.

IAG Area Manager Loss Adjusting Wade Harrington won $500 for the New Zealand Division Prize for a New Zealander who attained the highest mark in a Diploma of Loss Adjusting module.

AICLA President Michael Collins told insuranceNEWS.com.au the awards “encourage our members to keep studying and get qualified”.
