The Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA) and The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) have announced they will host their annual Claims Convention in Sydney later this year.  

It will mark the 16th edition of the event, with the theme “Insurance Claims – Proactivity in Reactive Situations”.  

The event will feature a full-day convention of presentations and panel discussions from leading industry figures from across the world, followed by a three-hour cocktail function.  

Planned discussion topics include the role of AI in insurance claims, responses to cyber claims, and the value of claims data.  

Organisers say the convention “provides an unparalleled opportunity to connect with colleagues, develop new business relationships and exchange ideas with like-minded professionals,” with more than 300 expected to attend.  

The event will be held at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, 61-101 Phillip St, Sydney, on September 28.
