Accident and Health International has appointed Anthony Halpin as national underwriting and distribution manager, and Michael Gentile as southern region underwriting manager.

Mr Halpin will drive strategic relationships and manage key accounts for the Tokio Marine-owned business.

He was most recently AHI’s southern region underwriting manager, according to his LinkedIn. He joined the business in July 2017 from AIG, where he was accident and health underwriter.

Mr Gentile, who joined last month, was previously senior underwriter for accident and health at AIG. He is based in Melbourne and will oversee market-facing underwriting in Victoria, WA, SA and Tasmania.

“With Anthony stepping into a national role and Michael joining us, our leadership team of experts in the accident and health sector is now even stronger,” head of sales and distribution partnerships John Dimos said.
