Angela Mosedale from Agile Underwriting Services has been awarded an Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and Lloyd’s Australia joint scholarship.

Ms Mosedale is an underwriting assistant at Agile, having joined the business in 2021.  

The Lloyd’s Innovators Scholarship will help fund her studies from tier 1 qualification to diploma, and includes enrolment in ANZIIF’s Lloyd’s Demystified course, valued at almost $5000.

She has also been offered a “day-in-the-life” experience at Lloyd’s Sydney office.  

The scholarship, in its inaugural year, aims to support future industry leaders through educational opportunities.  

“Lloyd’s is committed to fostering talent within the insurance industry and the Innovators Scholarship is an initiative that demonstrates this,” Lloyd’s Australia GM Peter Plustwik said.

“The scholarship speaks to the innovative values of the Lloyd’s market, and it is great to see talented people like Angela continuing to drive forward this tradition.”  

ANZIIF CEO Katrina Shanks says Ms Mosedale has “demonstrated outstanding commitment to her career in insurance” and the scholarship will “carry her forward and help her uplift fellow insurance professionals”.
