Agents prepare for training day
Members of the Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) will get the chance to boost staff development next month at an inaugural training day.
The UAC initiative is a direct response to member feedback from a survey last year which called for more training.
The day will be subsidised by the council in a bid to get as many staff as possibly at the event – members will pay only $200 per delegate.
Training will be arranged in association with the council’s training partner the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, and will include sessions on a range of issues from major obligations for agencies to legal issues and cross-selling opportunities.
It will be held on November 9, from 8.30am to 5pm, at Minter Ellison, Aurora Place, 88 Phillip Street, Sydney. Registrations are now open and can be made on the UAC website.
