The Australian Financial Complaints Authority will hold a series of member forums this year, following the practice of its predecessor, the Financial Ombudsman Service.

The first general insurance open forum is in Melbourne on February 20, with a Sydney event on April 5. Other forums will follow in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, where member companies can discuss issues directly with the ombudsman and senior staff.
