Nominations are open for the Association of Financial Advisers’ (AFA) Rising Star of the Year Award.

Nominees need to have been working as an adviser for three years or less, demonstrate high levels of advisory skills and knowledge, be based in a practice and provide quality/holistic advice.

They also need to have contributed to the industry and the community, and have an appropriate educational background and qualifications.

AFA CEO Richard Klipin says he is overwhelmed by the calibre of nominees every year.

“They’ve come from all parts of Australia, and from a diverse range of professional and educational backgrounds, but they share an energy and passion that will do great things for our industry in the future.”

The winner of the OnePath-sponsored award will be announced at the AFA National Conference on October 28.
