Adjuster scores hat-trick of AICLA awards
The Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters has presented its annual awards to outstanding students.
Chloe Zhou, of Crawford & Company in Sydney, won three prizes: the Diploma of Loss Adjusting award for general excellence, the Charles Buchanan prize and the Syd McDonald young adjuster award.
The Buchanan prize recognises an exam paper and assignments of outstanding quality in one module on the Diploma in Financial Services (Loss Adjusting).
The Syd McDonald award is for members aged 35 or below who achieve the highest mark in a subject on the diploma.
Glenn Cotton, of Cunningham Lindsey, won the Ted Cooper prize, awarded to a WA member with the highest mark in a diploma subject. Lawrie Thomas, of Cerno, won the Brian Geraghty prize for Queensland members.
The winner of the Carey Bird Scholarship will be announced next month.
