Actuary of the year unveiled
The Actuaries Institute has named Alan Greenfield as actuary of the year, in recognition of his “pioneering work”.
Mr Greenfield is Practice Leader Government and Analytics at Taylor Fry, which he co-founded in 1999.
“Alan’s work in the social welfare sector has had a significant impact on providing government solutions and lasting improvements to society’s most vulnerable,” institute President Estelle Pearson said.
“His commitment to innovation and technical excellence has broken new ground for the profession.”
The award will be presented at the Actuaries Institute’s Injury Schemes Seminar gala dinner on November 9 in Adelaide.
