Actuaries set dates for annual summit
The Actuaries Institute will hold its annual summit next month from August 4-28 via video conference.
Financial reforms, COVID-19, climate change and artificial intelligence are among the key issues that will be addressed during the summit.
The two plenary sessions on climate change will address the impact on disclosure in practice and financial frameworks.
QBE Group Head of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Risk Sharanjit Paddam, Suncorp Reinsurance and ESG Strategy Executive Manager Kate Lyons and IAG Executive Manager Responsible Business Brooke Pettit will take part in the climate change sessions.
Other key speakers and panellists include Australian Securities and Investments Commission Deputy Chairman Karen Chester and Australian Prudential Regulation Authority EGM Risk and Data Analytics Division Sean Carmody.
