Barry Rafe will become President of the Actuaries Institute, taking over from John Evans, who has resigned after assuming the role at the start of the year.

Mr Rafe is a member of the institute’s council and served as president in 2011.

He runs his own consultancy and has previously held senior positions at Accenture and Trowbridge Consulting.
