The Actuaries Institute is to hold a one-day seminar on regulation in the general insurance, life cover and superannuation industries.

Its inaugural regulation update will be held on Monday August 26 at the Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney.

Industry leaders and actuaries will address policy priorities for the year ahead and give updates on the transition to new prudential requirements.

There will also be presentations from the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority and “lively panel discussions [that] question whether we are at risk of too much regulation, the impact of regulatory changes and how these may shape the future of each industry”.
