The Actuaries Institute is calling for expressions of interest to lead sessions at next year’s Actuaries Summit.

The event, themed Take the Lead, will be held at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne from May 17-19. Delegates will gain insights into what it takes to become “leaders of tomorrow”, according to the institute.

A limited number of sessions are still up for grabs, with presentations of 30-35 minutes, followed by 20 minutes of discussion.

Relevant general insurance topics include: catastrophe modelling and mitigating natural disasters; claims reserving and capital management; and risk margins and insurance risk concentration charges.

Potential presenters should submit a synopsis for consideration.
