Brokers, insurers and service providers will receive an update on industry standards at the Association for Co-operative Operations Research and Development (ACORD) annual Australian forum.

The conference this Thursday and Friday in Sydney will discuss how standards are being implemented and applied, and is aimed at people in business as well as technical roles.

ACORD Chief Enterprise Architect Shane McCullough will introduce the association’s framework and there will be a roundtable discussion on technical implementation.

Suncorp EM Specialty Portfolio Chris Stallard will speak on emerging risks, while Steadfast Underwriting Agencies COO Simon Lightbody will outline underwriting automation for coverholders.
