The Association for Co-operative Operations Research and Development (ACORD) has appointed Steven Tuften as its Representative for Australia and New Zealand.

Mr Tuften, who began his role with the industry standards group last week, previously worked as data architect at Allianz Australia.

He will facilitate and lead ACORD standards with working groups and steering committees, support implementation efforts and provide leadership and advocacy for standards, products and services.

Mr Tuften has 24 years’ experience in IT, half of those in the insurance industry.
