Ace names new Asia-Pacific casualty head
Ace has appointed Shaun Oliver as Asia-Pacific Head of Casualty (Energy and Construction), based in Melbourne.
The move reflects rapid growth in the portfolio, the insurer says.
Mr Oliver will report to Regional Head of Casualty Adam Clifford, and will work closely with underwriters, enhance product offerings and grow the portfolio in target segments.
He previously managed the casualty portfolio in Victoria, Tasmania and WA, based in Perth. He has held various other roles with Ace since 2005, mainly in casualty underwriting.
Meanwhile, Stuart Kerr has become Ace’s Casualty Manager Australia, moving from his role as Queensland state manager.
Trent Jeuring is the new Casualty Underwriting Manager WA, moving up from casualty underwriter in Perth, while Matthew O’Brien has been promoted from senior casualty underwriter in Melbourne to Casualty Underwriting Manager, Victoria/Tasmania.
