Ace Insurance has appointed David Gibbs to the new position of Deputy Property Manager for Australia.

Mr Gibbs has worked at Ace for nine years, starting out as a property underwriter in Victoria. In 2009 he was promoted and moved to Perth as underwriting manager for property, tech lines and energy.

He returned to Melbourne as Property Underwriting Manager for Victoria in 2012, and he will continue to hold that role while taking on the broader responsibilities of his new position.

“The creation of this new role and the appointment of David Gibbs will strengthen our capabilities in a product line that is core to our operations,” Country President John French said.
