Ace Group has promoted Shane Greene to New Zealand Accident & Health Manager, based in Wellington.

Mr Greene has spent the past three years as sales and underwriting manager, southern region.

He was Zurich New Zealand’s commercial underwriting manager from 2007-11 and was commercial account manager at QBE from 2006-08.

“This is a critical role for Ace in a business line that is core to our company” Country President Andrew Brooks said. “It was important for us to appoint someone with both underwriting management and business development experience in order to drive our business forward.”
